Family Planning Clinic
Family Planning Clinic typically run twice a month we offer a complete family planning service including advice on emergency contraception and long acting contraception such as
– Fitting and removal of IUD/IUS

Minor Surgery
A range of minor operations such as removal of lumps and bumps are carried out at the surgery. These clinics are typically held once a month
Children’s Immunisation Clinic
Typically held weekly, the practice provides current schedule of childhood vaccinations.
Social prescriber and well being co-ordinator
Social prescribing is A way of connecting people with activities, groups and services within the local area. This is a free service and if you feel you could benefit from any additional help or support then please just get in touch with the surgery and ask to be referred to the Social prescriber or wellbeing coordinator. All we need is your consent and its a very simple and fast process. See below some examples of what they can help with:
– Local community groups and activities, such as walking or running groups, art classes or a peer support group are available.
– Are you struggling with a bereavement and need some support or counselling
– Are you struggling financially and perhaps feel you could be entitled to additional benefits or need help with the paperwork
– Support groups for long term conditions
– Support with housing or employment
– Mental health or courses to help with anxiety
You don’t need to see your GP to use this service, any of the staff (reception, admin, clinical) at the surgery can refer you into the service. So please don’t struggle, there is always help available and only a phone call or email away. Just call reception or send an email with a brief summary of what you are struggling with and we will make the referral

Travel Vaccinations
Our practice nurses are well-trained and experienced in helping you to be adequately protected for your holiday trip abroad. We offer a comprehensive range of vaccinations. A fee may be charged for some vaccines.
Joint Injections
Steroid injections, also called corticosteroid injections, are anti-inflammatory medicines used to treat a range of conditions.

Flu and Covid Vaccinations
If you have a heart or lung problem, asthma, diabetes or are in frail health you are advised to have a flu injection every year. Clinics normally begin in September when the vaccine becomes available.
Cervical Smears
We recommend that all women up to the age of 50 have a smear test every three years and women between 50 and 64 every five years. You may make an appointment for a smear with the practice nurse during normal working hours.
Chronic Disease Management Services
Our nursing team offer regular clinics in COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease and Stroke prevention. These clinics are by appointment only with the nurse.
