The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started. When it is the right time people will receive an invitation to come forward. For most people this will be a letter, either from their GP or the national NHS. This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.

Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter. Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website.

We regret to advise that it has become necessary to reduce the services that we can offer due to the new lockdown and the current virulent strain of COVID-19 virus, this is to protect you and also all the staff employed or associated with Whitby Health Partnership

We will be continuing with telephone triage to assess each patients needs and our reception team are trained to ask certain questions in order to ensure that you receive: the most appropriate medical care, from the most appropriate health professional, at the most appropriate time.

We respectfully ask that you continue to refrain from ringing or coming to the surgery unless it is strictly necessary, as there are a number of useful links and information pages within our website.

If you have been asked to attend the surgery where possible we ask that you

  • On the day if you feel unwell or experience COVID-19 (coronavirus) like symptoms do not attend, seek advise from NHS 111 online
  • Abide by the social distancing regulations
  • Wear a face mask or covering
  • Do Not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time
  • Attend on your own – relatives, friends or companions must remain outside the building
  • If you need assistance only ONE ADULT relative, friend or companion may accompany you also wearing a mask or face covering

The surgery is open Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.30pm

There is also an extended hours service

  • Monday to Friday: 6.30pm – 9.30pm
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 9am – 6pm
  • Bank Holidays: 9am – 2pm

You can make an appointment for a:

  • Nurse
  • Blood test
  • Physiotherapy assessment
