Alert: Patient Notice

We have seen an increase in the number of patients obtaining Mounjaro and other weight loss medications via private providers. Please ensure that when obtaining these medications, you answer the medical questions truthfully and disclose to the provider any existing medication and/or conditions, so that they can make an informed decision on whether the medication is safe for you to take.”

“If you are on contraception in tablet form or HRT in tablet form, including Utrogestan, the Mounjaro can reduce the effectiveness of these items. This can increase the risk of pregnancy regarding the pill, or increase the risk of womb cancer in relation to HRT. We would therefore suggest if this applies to you, to contact us to discuss alternative forms of contraception or HRT.”
