Book Online Consultation

Click “Submit a request” to launch our online consultation platform. You can use this to request a NON-URGENT request or appointment at the surgery.

Avoid waiting on the phone with this service. Your request will be triaged and you will receive a response within 24 hours (usually much sooner).

Whitby Health Partnership provide 3 types of appointments:

Acute – Urgent / on the day

Routine – Not urgent but important

Specialist – Chronic disease management and specialist clinics e.g. Family planning or immunisations

-Our patient services team will help to triage your query to the most appropriate service

-Sometimes you may be signposted to another local service provider that can see you sooner e.g. eye clinic or Pharmacy

-Some requests can be dealt with remotely and do not require a face to face consultation.

-Urgent cases will be dealt with on the same day.

  • For in-person consultations, we provide you with a 15 minute appointment to discuss your most important concern. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss multiple concerns.
  • We are happy for you to request a specific clinician, however, it may result in a slightly longer wait before your appointment.
  • If you are unable attend an appointment or wish to cancel. Please cancel using the NHS AppPatient Access App or via the quick cancel button.
  • The surgery does not offer a walk-in service and is strictly by appointment only.
  • If you arrive late for an appointment, it may not always be possible to fit you in, so please allow adequate time for parking and registration prior to your appointment.

Late For Your Appointment

Please attend your appointment on time.  If you are late we may not be able to see you.

Text Reminder Service

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.

Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
